I wanted a platform that connects people to real places and experiences, while also giving drivers and companies the tools to grow without losing control. BackRoute isn’t just about rides; it’s about building infrastructure that supports ownership, culture, and community from the ground up.

Weston Thomas Pilot Tester & Fleet Manager, Black Crescent Transportation

As the first pilot tester and fleet manager, I’m helping launch BackRoute by using it in real operations and recruiting drivers through Black Crescent Transportation. This fleet serves as the training ground for the platform — testing dispatch, communication, and fleet tools in real-world conditions. The goal is to make sure BackRoute works the way drivers and companies actually need it to before expanding to more fleets.
